Restoration

reconstitution with new stained glass seals

Restoration;

   Work that requires attention to detail, patience and passion. Restore does not mean turning or reconditioning. A job well done is to preserve and restore the old life. For an old stained glass, it sometimes it needs only to change the seals that deteriorate faster and resolder some broken parts.

   In some panels of window, stained glass have been lost. So it make search for the initial design, to keep continuity with the remaining stained glass windows, always bearing in itself the spirit of place and the work of the ancients. Each piece, whether the fifteenth or sixteenth century, has its own life. Even broken into several pieces, we must preserve and return to their place.

The broken parts are reconstituted with copper foil
